Janet Mayuka - the younger sister of the brother-and-sister pop-rap duo PERO PERO CANDY - releases her first solo EP.
Until now, music production for the duo had been led by her brother, SUNNY-PLAY. For this project, however, she challenged herself for the first time to write, compose, and direct the entire work, using the AI music tool SUNO as part of her creative process. Inspired by the diverse musical roots she has carried since childhood and carefully selecting sounds that resonated with each song's message, the EP spans a wide range of styles, including Alternative R&B, Afrobeats, Bossa Nova, and House.

The title "Prescription" reflects her desire to share something meaningful from her own journey - including her bipolar experiences, which she had kept private for many years and continues to face - in hopes that listeners in similar situations might find even a small hint of guidance or comfort.
For this project, she intentionally set aside the rap expression that had been a defining element of the duo and focused solely on vocal performance. In addition, although Autotune is widely used both in PERO PERO CANDY and throughout today's hip-hop scene, she chose not to use it at all on this EP, expressing everything through her natural voice and singing.

The music video for "Fairy Godmother," along with the related short clips, was also directed by Janet herself.
Through the music, visuals, message, and artwork, this EP invites listeners to experience the creative world she wants to express - from every angle.
