Japanese rock band "Willder Than Yesterday" has released their 3rd single, "Cry On The World."
What they witnessed that day in 2001, everything they thought through in the years since, all they wrote down, the conclusion they eventually arrived at, and their feelings about living on - 25 years later, they sing it all out in a hard-edged yet mellow rock tune.
Message:
What were you watching, back in 2001?
Maybe you caught something you couldn't tell was fiction or reality - on a screen, or with your own eyes, in real time. All any of us could do afterward was watch the destruction and chaos that followed, as if it belonged to someone else. Nothing about the world has changed. Probably nothing has changed since long before we were even born. But if we stop crying out, the world might truly die.
With just a little courage, and the will to live, maybe we can hold off the hour of ruin a little longer. That's why we cry out.
So that we can be even the smallest source of strength for you, here, now.
Even if it's a voice that will never reach anyone again, we have to sing it - down to the depths of the earth, out to the far edges of heaven - a song of hope to live by.
Carrying that feeling, this is a hard-edged yet mellow rock tune, sung with powerful, burning intensity.
Cry On The World.
