This song is the first one I have written and composed.
I saw a TV show where people competed in piano playing competitions, and for some reason I wanted to play the piano.
I had learned the piano a little bit in the first grade of elementary school, and my brother was learning the electone, so I had a lot of exposure to keyboard instruments.
Since I can't read rhythm notation, I don't often read from sheet music, but rather copy songs I know by ear or play songs with rhythms I know from sheet music.
I bought a used keyboard from Hard Off for about 1,500 yen, and played whatever songs I could and just played along to the rhythm. This is the song I came up with during that time.
Around this time, my life, which had been progressing smoothly, was no longer moving forward as planned, and I found myself reexamining the past.
In the process, I felt like I was confronted with things I had noticed and somehow ignored up until then. Whether that was good or bad is a different matter...
People often say to keep moving forward without stopping, but I don't think that's the case. I believe it's important to take some time to face yourself. That time to face yourself means stopping.
I think there may be some people who can keep moving forward without stopping, but there are also some who can't.
This song is uploaded to YouTube without the vocals.
Now that I've started streaming, I thought I'd upload this song with the vocals as well.
