"batn qaytus" is the 1st solo debut album from "GIOVANNI", a new solo project name of a Japanese singer-songwriter "Souta Habuka". He was the lead vocalist and guitarist for the band José which gained popularity from 2010 to 2018 in Japan.
The album "batn qaytus" includes beautiful 10 songs. "Nānā" which describes the days of struggling with compromise and taking the easy way out, "lemondo", a tender mid-tempo song that gently snuggles and hugs you, "Laughing at the shipwreck" and "Wandering Alphard" which have been performed live and already gaining popularity among his fans, and "Drowning", the song which Souta Habuka composed during his time with the band José.
The album title "batn qaytus" means 'Zeta Ceti', a star in the constellation of Cetus (sometimes called 'the whale' in English), and it's named after the closing song of the album "The Whale", a symbolic song about living with sadness.
