The lyrics imagine an "if" scenario: what if the idols Chihaya Amamiya and Maaya Hoshino visited the cafe where you work? Chihaya stops by early in the morning for takeout with a book in hand, while Maaya waits for the stars at her usual seat in the evening. Though they are so close, they still feel out of reach.
