I don't care in anything but what I know
Maybe it's because I am physicaly spent
Sleepy and sleepy and I’m falling asleep
I can see ah anything else
There's nothing anywhere
Because fairy tales are everyday
Sleepy and sleepy and I’m falling asleep
Because I feel safe with YOU

PALESS - 3rd Full Album "YUUKI"
PALESS's third full-length album YUUKI builds on the dreamlike atmosphere presented in their previous release SUNAHAMA, while introducing hints of a dry, American alternative sound alongside experimental and light-footed arrangements.
Created through a meticulous production process in a self-renovated home studio, the album showcases a significantly expanded sonic range and creative freedom, clearly marking an evolution in PALESS's sound.
All recording, mixing, and mastering were completed solely by the members of PALESS at their self-built studio, "I+V+U+C." This fully independent production approach captures the tension and interplay of the trio's individual personalities, resulting in a sound that feels both cohesive and dynamically charged.
Artist Profile
PALESS
Formed in 2009 by Ryohei Otsuki, the band later welcomed Kahori and Yuki Kasugatani, arriving at its current lineup. Based mainly in Tokyo, their activities are now focused on producing and releasing music from their own studio, with live performances kept to a minimum. In their early years, they constructed patchwork-like soundscapes using programs within keyboards, layering them with delays and noise through effects to pursue both overwhelming volume and moments of stillness. Their music was highly experimental, incorporating unconventional sounds such as bells attached to tree branches or umbrellas, combined with vocals. From their 2020 releases onward, while retaining their original experimental approach, elements of rhythm and more accessible song structures have been introduced, significantly expanding the scope of their expression.
