Kommune's first EP "CARDINALITY" is released by their label CLEWAXING.
This work is a story of people struggling and struggling with their ideals and dreams while living in society.
As the title CARDINALITY (= "concentration") suggests, the current Kommune's expressive elements are abundantly expressed, and each track gives a glimpse of a unique expression, just like the multifaceted nature of humans.
The beat, with its mellow vocals, is based on dark ambient, with HipHop, beat, UK bass, etc. as the core of the rhythm. Throughout the EP, you can enjoy the change in texture from liquid to solid, and enjoy the feeling of becoming one with the sound as you let yourself drift away.
Starting with "omen" and "sagasu," where the harmony between the beat and vocals is outstanding and you can feel like you are melting into the space, "kasumi," which strongly inherits the heaviness from the first single and has a floating melody and vocals that are pleasant to listen to, "SWVG," which has a danceable five-on-the-floor beat, industrial sounds and sharp vocals, and "yuragi," which was released as a pre-release single and features an addictive beat, are included in the album.
Despite being their first EP, it is a highly "CARDINALITY" work that expresses Kommune's solid worldview.

Kommune
A unit formed in Shibuya-ku, Tokyo and based in Tokyo. It consists of vocalist meyumo and Beat maker / Guitar Konfig. Starting with "hyouryu" released in May 2023, they have performed live in various situations, from clubs to live houses, outdoor festivals, and in-store events. Combining the beats of Konfig, who specializes in unique heaviness and electronic sensibility with unpredictable tracks, and meyumo's husky, mellow vocal style, you can enjoy a new sound. In August 2024, their first EP 'CARDINALITY' was released. In April 2025, Appearing at Showcase Festival 'music bridge tokyo"'.

Beat maker based in Tokyo. With a wide range of musical background, he develops an aggressive beat style and is known as a presence that stands out from the mainstream. His musical style differs depending on his activities, such as his own music unit Kommune, his collective 5 FEET FARM, and providing songs to MCs, rappers/singers, and you can enjoy his unique style from many angles. He mainly plays using the SP404 MK2 and works in music clubs, live houses, and other locations. He is not limited to Japan, but also collaborates with many overseas artists, collaborating with artists from many countries such as France, Australia, and Thailand on live shows and songs. In November 2024, he performed his first overseas concert in Bangkok, Thailand, and in March 2025, he performed live on Taiwan's Toha Radio.
