"BACKGROUND MUSIC"

This release, "BACKGROUND MUSIC," features some of my favorite music I've recently created. I'm particularly pleased with the beatless music I created this time; the first track, "DEAR YOGA," and the second track, "NOT BAD," are ambient/drumless pieces.

The fifth track, "ANYTIMEANYPLACE," is a collaboration with FLIPCUT's scratching. We discussed how scratching is also an instrument (INSTRUMENT/ELEMENT), and included it on the album.

Tracks 7, "Mada," and 11, "I Think Bout Many Girl," which I created by cutting and compiling my favorite parts from a "7" track given to me by DJ TAKA, are also a must-have for me, given my love for this culture.

As a high school student, I became hooked on "instrumental hip-hop" through rap, so perhaps I've unconsciously loved "sounds without voices" since then.

Please listen to this album when you need to concentrate on something.
