yumegiwatone is the solo electronica project of designer and composer Kai Kusaoke.
Three singles are now out ahead of the release of the debut album 'c.o.s.', a culmination of ten years of work.
Built around the theme of time, this concept album portrays the stories of different people unfolding throughout the various hours of the day. The album also serves as a culmination of yumegiwatone's journey so far, bringing together the experience and ideas cultivated through a decade of live performances.

Influenced by artists such as CHRISTOPHER WILLITS, agraph, ESNO, I Am Robot And Proud, and Sleepy Fish, while drawing on Kusaoke's background in alternative rock and concert band, the album explores a distinctive approach that feels both nostalgic and refreshingly new. It captures the essence of yumegiwatone and reveals the project's unique musical identity.
In recent years, yumegiwatone has been steadily broadening its creative reach.

This includes contributing music to Setaore Label - a welfare-and-music project featuring artists such as [.que] and Lewo Chyba - as well as performing live at Setagaya Bread Festival 2025, which attracted approximately 60,000 attendees over two days.
Now, riding this growing momentum, yumegiwatone releases its debut album - a highly anticipated work that promises to bring a fresh perspective to Japan's electronica scene.
