Artist Profile
G.O.T.O.
Born in 1980 in Takahama, Aichi Prefecture. He started his musical career as a member of a rap unit with a classmate from the same junior high school in that small rural town. He worked as both a DJ and an MC and held events with his own crew. He made a name for himself in the Nagoya scene despite his young age. However, the crew went on hiatus and he began his solo career. The DJ+SIDE MC style is not uncommon these days, but it can be said that he is one of the MCs who pushed the role of the SIDE MC position to the standard. He has become known as one of the best MCs not only in Nagoya but also in the whole country, making full use of the skills and sense he has cultivated, such as live performances and expressiveness in the rap unit he has been active in for a long time, and the sense of unity with the audience.
