This song tells a story of a parting and the promise that follows.
The first and second verses are structured as a dialogue, capturing the back-and-forth of their emotions.

I purposely wrote the lyrics to be ambiguouswhether it's romance or friendship is for the listener to decide. While I have my own specific vision as the creator, I wanted to leave it open to interpretation.

The arrangement is a simple ballad centered on piano and synthesizers, featuring a mix with a resonant, ringing snare. Thats just a personal stylistic touch of mine.
