Lyric

The Life Indicator - i. Delegated

Lifting Shadows

My sworn friends have died in pain

I ran as if chasing ghosts

Hit a snag on the final sail

What has this thorny path just brought me?

Used to be something to live

But now it eats away at me

World in conflict turned upside down

I see the indicator before my eyes

Songbirds in the distance

How’d they gain the wisdom

To overcome the fear and grief

I have just sought to find it

Only to recall distant memories

Is life the pain, does that last until the end of

My flight, my brain, my soul

Unstable waves in signs, light them up

Is death like taking a breath in dark and true peace

But afraid of death, my contradictory will

Underneath the warm sky, long gone

A gentle breeze brought songbirds brisk talks

Did the peaceful garden exist

Truly somewhere in time and space

With my duty I stand here

However I still wonder if

The haven has been connected here

This delegated pain

Is life the pain, does that last until the end of

My flight, my brain, my soul

Unstable waves in signs, throw them up

Is death like burning me out in dark and true peace

But afraid of death, my contradictory will

I enjoyed creating two long songs (which are divided into several parts), trying how I could combine the elements of cinematic and electronic music with progressive metal. I would be so glad if you listened to these progressive songs filled with the musical and lyrical journey.
