My Crazy Dreams
nagorite
Throughout this work, which weaves together "a story of two," a precarious and romantic mood drifts, as the title suggests.
"Hokori no Ginga"
"The beginning of the story is when something ends."
In nagorite's songs, such a message can be glimpsed. The calm and light pop sound quietly affirms significant decisions and unforgettable moments that may not be flashy.
"Nurui Yume"
This song is written and composed by Vo. Shion Sasaki. Composer/Guitarist Tani Grace felt that this ballad shared the same narrative timeline as their first work, "Eien no Soba(Stranger's Midnight)," when he heard it for the first time. The arrangement adds bold developments, pushing the story forward with a vigorous band ensemble, as if flipping a cassette from side A to side B.
"Tasogare"
The sound, which contains a paradox of joy amid anxiety and unease, is one of nagorite's unique expressions. This distinctive melody is derived from the identities of the four members, each of whom has a side as an actor. They possess an attitude that captures fluctuating emotions from multiple perspectives, rather than leaning toward a single emotion. This song, imbued with a particularly romantic and Oriental scent, hints at "the beginning of the two."
"Our Crazy Romance"
This song, which bears the album title, erupts with a stoic band sound that seems to declare "the true beginning." While provocative, it delicately captures the frustration inherent in romance.
"Hikoukigumo"
This song is a guitar solo recorded as a voice memo, reflecting a desperate wish to leave behind memories that might someday be forgotten. The gentle sound of the strummed guitar and soft vocals gently touch the core of the story.
"Utau"
The unusual sound space where voice memos and orchestra intertwine triggers an emotional chemical reaction. It's worth noting the songwriting of Vo. Shion Sasaki, who sought to solidify the fragile and ephemeral narrative.
"Enchousen"
A cry towards a complicated conclusion. This exhilarating rock number strongly showcases nagorite's new groove, now with a full band formation.
"Hanarebanare"
In contrast to "the end of the story," this song aims for a pop and adorable sound. One might feel a lingering warmth throughout, reminiscent of a slight fever.
"My Crazy Dreams"
As the band's expression changes in response to the wildly fluctuating emotions, what nagorite presents for the finale of an album themed around romance is a human anthem disguised as a love song. This song is the culmination of the story woven so far, and it speaks of the fact that the last scene is always the present.
