Uki is a Chinese singer who came to Japan to pursue her dream. In her sixth year of musical activity, she fulfilled her long-held ambition by completing her debut CD of original songs, officially debuting in April 2023.
Deeply inspired by the music of ZARD, she has a profound love for Japanese songs from the 1960s through the 90s. Having mastered the Japanese language through these songs, she personally writes all her lyrics, pouring her heart into every Japanese word.
Her music features her own compositions alongside tracks provided by the legendary bassist Keizo Endo. Produced and fully arranged by Endo himself, the songs offer a nostalgic sound that evokes the golden era of Japanese Kayokyoku and City Pop.
