If you would let me stay
I’ll be the light, right by your side
Your eyes say yes, your lips hesitate
Let it be, the night will drift away
I wouldn’t ask for words
’Cause the answer isn’t always true
Can’t you see, the sky and trees everywhere
Let it be, right now, you’ll choose someday
My heart is away, far away
In the garden where it longs to stay
Somehow
You can walk in, stay for days
Where the sun and rain embrace
Give me a call when you need a hand
When it feels like the night won’t ever end
Love ain’t enough
It's hard kind of a game
I’ll take the weight, you fly away
Into the dark
I’ll wait until you
Smile again
And now the Morning comes
We take each other’s hands
Waiting for the sun to find us again
I believe we will find our way
Birds floating in the sky
The Reflection in your eyes
Memories, show me how to be brave
Let it be and lean into the winds
My life is away, far away
In the garden where the flowers begin to hum
This love, this place of grace
Where the sun and rain embrace
Give me a call when you need a hand
You are not the only one
Love ain’t enough
It never fix a thing
But one day, we lean by the fence
By the little plot
I’ll wait until you smilie again
(Smilie again)
(And I’ll be there)
I’ll be waiting for your
Dawn to rise and lights to shine
(Smilie again)
(And I’ll be there)
Whenever you are lost in rain
I'll be there to hold your hand
But someday we meet by the fence
Give me a hug
And let me see you
Smilie again

Smile Again
The Bagpipes
The 11th release in the 12-month consecutive release project is written and composed by Alex (Vo.Gt).
This ballad carries a simple yet profound feeling: "All I can do is stay by your side."
Through Alex's vocal-holding both gentleness and quiet power-the song reaches out and finds its way to someone, somewhere.
It captures the ambiguous hours before morning, when emotions waver without words, painted with a folky texture and a soulful aftertaste.
Choosing to stay close without answers, believing in the day you'll smile again-the song continues to play, calmly affirming that choice.
With this 11th release, The Bagpipes reveal a new side of themselves, marked by quiet resolve and emotional depth.
