"I Love Inuyama" is a heartfelt community support song inspired by
Inuyama Castle, a National Treasure located in Inuyama City, Aichi Prefecture, Japan,
and the historic castle town that surrounds it.
Through images of spring festivals, summer cormorant fishing, autumn streets,
and the quiet beauty of the castle in winter,
the song gently portrays the changing seasons and everyday life of Inuyama.
The lyrics were written by Yoshihiro Ishida, former Mayor of Inuyama City,
reflecting his deep love for the town and its people.
The music, vocals, and piano performance are by MIYAKO SENDA,
with a warm acoustic fingerstyle guitar arrangement by Eric Kurachi.
Beyond performances in Inuyama, the song has also been presented at
international events in Taiwan and Thailand,
sharing the spirit of Japan's castle town culture with audiences overseas.
"I Love Inuyama" is a song that connects the castle, the town, and the people-
a gentle reminder of one's hometown and the warmth of community.
