    Formed in Tokyo in 2014, Mime is a four-piece indie R&B band consisting of Hikari (vocals), Hayato Uchino (guitar), Kunihiko Kondo (keys), and TiMT (drums, production). With deep roots in Black music and a wide array of musical influences, Mime blends skillful musicianship and track-making to craft a modern sound for the 2020s. Their groovy yet dreamy tracks, combined with Hikaris cool and graceful vocals, invite listeners into the unique sonic world of Mime. On December 7, 2022, they released their third album Bloom and capped off the year with a successful one-man live show, Mime One-Man Live Bloom, held at WALL&WALL in Omotesando. In recent years, the band has continued to focus on live performances, including self-produced events and shows at Ebisu BLUE NOTE PLACE.
