Locked eyes with me, light as a feather

Big shiny eyes

The kitties look so shocked

Frozen in their place

Staring straight at me

With a funny face

Slowly and gently, I’ll pull the curtain

And leave you be

Playing hide and seek

Where did you go?

I take a little peek

It’s time for bed now

Everyone, come here!

Come out of hiding

There’s nothing to fear

I crawl into my blanket

Kitties fast asleep
