YOKOHAMA MY SOUL TOWN SHUFFLE

DRIFTWOOD

Woh woh Woh Woh woh Woh Woh woh Woh

YOKOHAMAマイソウルタウンシャッフル

12の時に聴いた I remember The Night

この街の名前が タイトルのアルバムで

あれから時が過ぎ 時代も変わった

俺はまだ歌ってる 今夜もステージで

Woh woh Woh Woh woh Woh Woh woh Woh

YOKOHAMAマイソウルタウンシャッフル

Woh woh Woh Woh woh Woh Woh Woh woh

Artist Profile

  • DRIFTWOOD

A Shiga Japan-based blues rock band led by Shogo Tanaka formed in November 2005. 1st album -Tobira- released in 2007. 2nd album -Stream- released in 2010. 3rd album -BLUES TRAIN- released in 2017. Vocalist and guitarist Shogo Tanaka creates a number of original songs that depict the bittersweet Showa era and veteran band members living in Shiga liven them up! Based on Shogo Tanaka's original songs you can enjoy soulful songs and (Naoan Marshall's) passionate guitar. Supporting band members include pianist Reiko Kawasaki well known for her Latin jazz piano trio on keyboards and Hammond organ. American drummer Geoffrey Grant active in numerous bands and sessions on drums and percussion. The rhythm section is rounded out by bass-man Hironori Kimura who was fascinated by New Orleans and subsequently spent time playing in the US where he later became a professional bassist. Guitarist Higashide Kohei a blues guitarist who is also active in the instrumental band MINOR STANDARD adds flavor to the mix with his bluesy guitar playing. We hope you'll enjoy this nostalgic yet new rich band sound that evokes memories of good ol' Showa era-japan when Japanese rock was born while incorporating the honest sounds of today's contemporary musicians.
