[Song Introduction] Shonan Version #1 (Version One) of the song "The Summer Day" is a version of the original song themed around Shonan Beach, the Shonan area of Kanagawa Prefecture. It begins with a wonderful chorus that evokes the image of a jingle used on a radio program, and the refreshing female vocals create an atmosphere that evokes thoughts of the beautiful Shonan sea. [About the author] I, Iijima Katsuji, a songwriter and composer, was born in Midorigaoka, Meguro-ku, Tokyo in 1970 and am now 55 years old. I currently write and compose songs mainly in Isehara and the Shonan area of Kanagawa Prefecture. I have had experience as a dancer and DJ since I was young, and perhaps as an extension of that, I began writing songs and composing in earnest in 2024 in order to realize the joy of creating music. Through this activity, I sincerely pray for world peace and sincerely hope that we can contribute to a world without war (conflict), even if only a little.
