As the title Lets get on it suggests, this track expresses my emotions and experiences from dropping out of school to where I am now, from various angles as an artist. Its about putting everything on the beat no matter how messy, real, or unfinished and letting the music speak for itself.

    I am a Japanese rapper and musician performing under the name EAST. In 2025, just before turning 34, I made the decision to debut, determined to turn my turbulent and twisted life experiences into music. After going through bankruptcy and depression, I lived in a state of emptiness. In that void, I realized that hip hop, always closest to me, was the only light that remained. From the gutter, I now create and perform music with my entire soul, pouring everything into raw and real expression. This channel is where a rock bottom, broken MC, striving to become a hip hop star, takes on everything alone for the first time and shares his own music.
