A black and funky Hip Hop album of 2025 version is spawned from Kumamoto!
KEN VOLCANO" is a rapper who formed DOSMOCCOS with Potemkin of Gakki Ranger and DJ MO-RIKI, and is active in the festival band BOOMDIGI, as well as actively performing live as a solo artist.
He is also the proud DJ of Kyushu and Kumamoto's funky president, "GEORGE THE DEEJAY", who has been active as a DJ in Kumamoto for a long time and has cultivated his knowledge of music by digging through analog records.
The collaboration album "VOLCANO ERUPTIN'" will be released!
The jacket design is by "BRAKICHI" who has worked on various VINYL and CD artwork for MISIA.
Artist Profile
KEN VOLCANO
In 1993, he started his career as a rapper in a group called BUDDY in Kumamoto. Later, he moved to Tokyo and formed DOSMOCCOS with Potemkin of Bratwurst Ranger, DJ MO-RIKI, and others. Released three albums. In 2012, he came back to Kumamoto and formed the festival band BOOMDIGI, releasing two EPs and two 7-inch albums. On the other hand, he also performs solo using SP404, delay machine, and microphone, and rocks the clubs in Kumamoto night after night with his old-school style.
