  Ranman Tengoku is an indie rock band from Fukuoka, formed in the spring of 2024. The four piece group consists of Manato Momono (Vo. Gt.), miyamo (Gt.), Seidainagon (Dr.), and support member Miwaku (Ba.). Influenced by a diverse range of genres including folk, blues, and Kayokyoku (Japanese pop from the Showa era), they are a next generation rock band with a sound that feels both nostalgic and fresh. Since the release of their music videos for Tenshi and Fuka Shita Machi in late 2024, their delicate yet passionate lyrics which capture slices of everyday life and their captivating melodies have sparked a rapid buzz among indie rock fans nationwide through social media and word of mouth. Starting in 2025, the band shifted into high gear with live performances, appearing at major events such as BAYFES 2025, TOKYO CALLING, and MIHODAI Tokyo. In September, they released their first physical CD, the 1st Limited Single Tenshi / Fuka Shita Machi, from their own independent label, followed by the digital single Tsuki no Hanashi in October. On January 28, 2026, they released the pre-release digital single Omoidori ni, leading up to the release of their 1st Mini Album Hibi, Orikaesu Goto ni on February 25. This album was selected for Tower Records TOWER RECOMEN (Tower Records Recommended) for February, and the release event their first self organized show in Fukuoka sold out, drawing significant attention to the band. Ranman Tengoku is currently hailed as the must-watch band for any live music fan.
