Artist Profile

• Caffeine Junkie

2024 marked the beginning of CAFFEINE JUNKIE's musical activities. Built around the concept of a "weekly serialized manga," new songs are released on social media as standalone "one-shots." Tracks that receive a strong response are later expanded into full versions as "serialized releases," drawing attention for a unique style that blends music with manga culture. Musically, CAFFEINE JUNKIE draws influence from a wide range of genres including mixture rock, alternative rock, house, and hip hop, creating a free-form style that resists being confined to any single genre. At the same time, great emphasis is placed on lyrical expression, pursuing a balance between cinematic imagery and melodies that naturally resonate with listeners. The project has earned recognition for crafting worlds that evoke vivid scenes and personal memories in the listener's mind. In 2026, CAFFEINE JUNKIE was selected for "Independent Artist 100" as one of 100 artists expected to shape the future of the music scene. With an exceptionally high release pace, the project continues to establish a distinct presence often described as a "new form of Reiwa-era pop music."
