2年ぶりのフォークアルバムです。
夢の中で起こった出来事にインスピレーションを得て創りました。

灯台のような廃墟の建物に入って階段を下りていくと、
未来の自分に会えるという言い伝えがあったので、自分もそこへ行ってみることにしました。

大きな螺旋階段を下りていくイメージがずっとあり、その雰囲気を出すように意識して創ったアルバムです。

dropは2001年に東京・池袋で結成された日本のデュオです。メンバーはj（作詞作曲、ギター、ベース、ドラム、キーボード、プログラミング）とa（作詞作曲、ボーカル、ギター、ベース、キーボード、チェロ）の2人です。楽曲は主に自宅スタジオで録音され、mellotron、clavinet、solina、jupiter-8といった古い楽器にヴィンテージエフェクターのエッセンスが加えられています。
