"SORI" means "sound" in Korean.
This song is about love, dreams, and life.
In reality, even when we're in love, life doesn't stop. We still have work to do. Even while chasing our dreams, we have to face the realities of everyday life. Every new beginning is accompanied by a goodbye, and the limited time we're given never stops moving.
Life is never defined by a single theme.
That's why, in "SORI," I intentionally move between love, dreams, work, and life instead of focusing on just one. I wanted the lyrics to reflect reality as it is - a place where different emotions and experiences exist all at once.
The moment I feel most like myself might be when I'm drinking coffee, smoking a cigarette, and listening to music.
But that's only my answer.
I'm sure you have your own place, your own moment, where you feel most like yourself.
The "you" in this song could be a lover.
It could be a dream.
It could even be music itself.
The answer belongs to each listener.
