"Spring mosaics made from collected pieces of sound"
This is the second album by fingerstyle guitarist Michio Ogawa, whose first album "Sun and Compass" was well-received, and who has attracted attention as a guitarist of the new generation. Produced in 2001.
As opposed to his first album, which had strong leanings toward traditional music, this album took a major turn towards an experimental approach to the acoustic guitar, implementing aspects of psychedelia combined with an ambient texture.
The rapidly changing melody and experimental nature of the songs ventured into unchartered territory for the acoustic guitar and created quite a buzz among guitarists as pioneering into a new frontier for solo guitar.
