  Cheshire Yums is a rapper born in Tokyo, Japan. He spent several years of his childhood in Hawaii, USA. His diverse rap and melodic flows are distinctive and are based on his exposure to many genres of Western music from an early age, as well as his background as a DJ at nightclubs in Tokyo during his school years. 
 The majority of his music is composed by himself. The music is characterized by trap beats, sampling of gospel songs and pop songs from the 2000s, emotional guitar, and synth melodies. 
 He has been influenced by both American and Japanese especially tokyo and internet cultures, which has made him able to create "hybrid cultural rap music-a genre of hip-hop that he continues to make music today with the supreme goal of expanding his presence both in Japan and abroad.
