The 3rd EP, a departure from the ECM-based approach of the previous work, is characterized as Lo-Fi Hip Hop.
The EP incorporates the analog pitch distortions unique to Lo-Fi Hip Hop, while adapting them to a digital 36-tone equal temperament scale. It was sold physically on cassette tapes, returning to analog methods as a promotional strategy. The microtonal adjustments to the equal temperament system raise the question of "the weight of the balance" (as in the delicate balance of a tripod).
Created during the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, when movement restrictions were imposed, the EP was made using a MIDI keyboard, with compositions timed to fit the maximum upload length of 2:20 on Twitter at the time.
