With their last live album being fifteen years old and their current line-up being the strongest yet, Saber Tiger decided to record a brand new live album during the tour for their brand new box set 'Halos And Glare'. Since that box set contained their three most recent albums 'Decisive', 'Messiah Complex' and 'Bystander Effect', the setlist is made up largely of tracks from these albums, resulting in a powerful and highly dynamic live album. Saber Tiger has experienced a creative rebirth this decade and 'Live: Halos And Glare' is the ultimate proof that the material is just as strong in the live setting as it is on the albums. 'Live: Halos And Glare' also marks the arrival of bassist hibiki as an official band member after recording 'Bystander Effect' with the band as a session musician. 'Live: Halos And Glare' was recorded at Tokyo's Space Odd at August 5th, 2017 and is accompanied by a live dvd directed by Takayuki Yamada, who is also responsible for recent videos of Loudness, Anthem and Outrage.

    1981年 木下昭仁<g>を中心に結成。以降、無数のメンバーチェンジを重ねながらも、精力的なライヴ・サーキットを行い、多数の作品を発表。 1997年 ロン・キール<vo>をゲストに迎えた『PROJECT ONE』でメジャー進出。2005年までに通算でオリジナル・アルバム8作品、コンピレーション・アルバム2作品、マキシ・シングル、ライヴ・アルバム、ライヴDVDを発表。 2003年 インディーズ時代の5作品をリマスタリング再発。 2010年 下山武徳 <vo>、田中康治<g>が復帰。水野泰宏<ds>が加入。 2011年 8月 『DECISIVE』 Edge Trax／クラウン徳間ミュージックより発売。 12月 『PARAGRAPH IV』 Edge Trax／クラウン徳間ミュージックより発売。 2012年 8月 『HATE CRIME』 Edge Trax／クラウン徳間ミュージックより発売。 10月 『MESSIAH COMPLEX』 Edge Trax／クラウン徳間ミュージックより発売。 2013年 10月 初のアメリカ公演。 2015年 11月 『BYSTANDER EFFECT』 KJ MUSIC RECORDS／TOWER RECORDS SHIBUYAより発売。 2016年 4月 初の韓国公演。6月 初のオランダ公演。 2017年 4月 hibiki<b>が加入。
