An insert song from the stage play *Gyokai no Mori*.
In the story, this song was written by Usagiri as the theme song for the first film created by a group of childhood friends from their school film club.
It gently portrays the joy and uncertainty of chasing dreams, the connections between people, and the way a single voice or song can help us keep going through ordinary, imperfect days.
Performed by Joanna and Yoshinari Nishizawa as Kujirako and Usagiri from the play.
A warm, nostalgic, and slightly whimsical song that leaves a soft smile behind.
A trilingual artist who delivers sounds and words that give strength, speaking Japanese, Tagalog, and English. Joanna auditioned on her own while still in middle school, making her debut with "Catch Your Dream" the ending theme for the TV Tokyo anime Kenichi: The Mightiest Disciple. She later performed "BEAUTIFUL WORLD," the opening theme for the Nippon TV anime The World is Still Beautiful. The anime's OST album, featuring her song, reached #2 on iTunes. In addition, she contributed to the music for the overseas version of Square Enix's Nintendo DS game The World Ends with You, including tracks such as "Déjàvu" and "DTM - Crossover." Her activities span songwriting, lyric translation, video streaming, radio DJing, narration, and acting. Currently, she focuses on her music career, live streaming, and will perform in the stage play Tem and the Voices of the Trash - Chapter 2, running from February to March 2024 at ShibuGeki!. In July 2023, embracing her identity as a cross-border singer, she rebranded from "Joanna Koike" to "Joanna" to mark a fresh start with the release of her debut album. In 2024, she released some collaborative songs with MONOLITHIC PROJECT.
