"Kimi no Orphée (Orphée for you)" is Japanese singer/poet, Ari's (Ant), solo project expressing real life-events and stories through her songs, illustrations and videos. If we were to name the phase between her debut in 2016 to the release of the TV anime theme song, "The Blessing of Smile", in 2019 as Kimi no Orphée Ver. 1.0, the release of "That Never Goes Out" marks the birth of Kimi no Orphée Ver. 2.0. While the stories depicted in her earlier phase centered around a second-person "you", Ver.2.0 seeks to reveal her inner thoughts- shifting her narrative to first-person speech to express her stories on a deeper, more personal level. Channeling this new perspective, this chill, soothing tune is the perfect piece to listen on a balmy summer night.
