Known for its pristine beauty, Japan's southern isle of Amami Oshima was added to UNESCO's World natural heritage sites in 2021. For more than a thousand years the island and its people nurture traditional songs called Shimauta. Born and raised in Oshima, singer Anna SATO revisits those songs along with pianist Mariko NAKABAYASHI.
Including Obokuri~Eeumi, Nagaasabana, and Lullaby of Amami, the miraculous voice of Anna SATO invites us to the deepest wonders of the island of Amami Oshima.
