Just another day
Passed me on my way
Suddenly a gentle breeze
Opened a door in my heart
It was this old crossroad
In faded memories
There I found your smile
Brought tears into my eyes
The days I struggled how to tell but never made it out
Yet all this time
They never went away
I know I could not hide
Those words I missed to tell you then
That I have been holding so long
Deep within my heart sleeps a tender feeling
I've realized that you have always stayed with me
We are connected here
Through the darkest night
I am calling you
It echoes in the light
True tenderness lies underneath
Making this river flow, yet sometimes unnoticed
A story begins so unexpectedly and as I’m far inside
It’s lost and gone with the wind
We walk two steps close and we part, then walk three steps away,
It’s love… or was it really love?
But how would you know if the shades and the shapes of hearts
Must be the same to be one love?
Deep within my heart sleeps a tender feeling
I’ve realized that we can never measure love
As today’s half moon nor to keep a crescent moon
Nor to have the same eclipse of hearts
Nor to be always full moon
All precious memories come right back to me
Whenever I cross that street
But something in myself
Melts a broken spell
Now I fly beyond time
Find the message and I’ll deliver on that’s long be gone
Deep within my heart sleeps a tender feeling
I've realized that you have always stayed with me
We are connected here
Through the darkest night
I am calling you
I hear it clear and bright
I am calling you
It echoes in the light
