  Japanese IDOL PUNK ROCK since2021 MAD JAMIE made their debut on April 29, 2021, with the release of their first full-length album, FUCK FOREVER, accompanied by the album-release one-man show LOST VERGIN at Shibuya Chelsea Hotel. Despite the restrictions in place at the time, MAD JAMIE held sold-out one-man shows at Shibuya Club Quattro in July 2021 and August 2022. On March 7, 2023, the four-member lineup played its final show, BUTIFUL MAD DAYS, at Shibuya Chelsea Hotel. The concert sold out and marked the end of that era of MAD JAMIE. Kanjosen Akubi then took on the full spirit and legacy that MAD JAMIE had built over nearly two years, relaunching the act as a solo project with a one-man show at Ebisu LIQUIDROOM on May 16, 2023. Following a steady stream of new releases, MAD JAMIE released the second album, THIS is NONFICTION, on December 27, 2024, and celebrated the occasion with a one-man show at Shibuya Club Quattro. As of August 2026, MAD JAMIE has 27,000 monthly listeners on Spotify, nearly 70% of whom are based outside Japan. This reflects the growing international recognition of the project. MAD JAMIE has performed in Europe for three consecutive years. In 2025, the act successfully completed a five-country tour covering the Netherlands, the United Kingdom, Norway, Sweden, and Poland. In 2026, MAD JAMIE is once again touring Europe, with performances across the United Kingdom, Poland, Sweden, and Italy. On January 13, 2026, MAD JAMIE held the one-man show TOKYO DEMOCRACY at Zepp Shinjuku. This was followed by the release of the third album, HYPER NATURAL, a record packed with the rawest and most powerful creative impulse in the history of MAD JAMIE.
