    Popcorns (Japanese: "Poppukōnzū") History 2015. The band is formed by Corn Kawahara and Pop Hasegawa at Hakushaku cafe located in Tokyo's Ikebukuro-district. Zū Saito joins the band a couple of months later in June and they go on to perform their first live in September of that same year. 2016. They release their first single "Popcorns" featuring two of the band's songs. In 2017 they release their first mini-album called "Popcorns de Wa Wa Wa" and went on a tour at locations following Tokyo's Chuo/Keio subway-line. The tour comes to a close after great success. 2018. Their second mini-album "Shinbangaichi" with 6 songs is released. ū Tomamu joins the band in April of that same year. What follows is an 8 month tour "Popcorns and Three!! Two!! One!!" where the band's first one man live of 120 people is sold out. The tour finishes with another sold out show. 2019. They return with a new sound and another national tour is being planned.
