My second single Kadode no Uta is now available.
Just like my previous release, this song is a fully self produced work. I wrote and composed the music, recorded it, and handled the mix and mastering myself. It is a bright, refreshing, and uplifting track filled with a message meant to gently support anyone taking a step forward in life, making it a perfect song for graduation season.
As the title suggests, the song was written for people who are beginning a new chapter. It expresses the mix of hope and uncertainty that comes with moving on, carried by a light band sound and open, soaring chorus lines. It is a song that stays close to the listener and quietly guides them toward the future.
I compose music under the name Kihachiro. I work as a systems engineer at a company in Kobe while continuing my music activities. Someday, I hope to have the chance to perform my own songs in front of people. Looking back on my childhood, I tried many things such as lessons, studying, and basketball, but music was always by my side. I loved listening to music and singing, and no matter how many times I faced setbacks in life, music was the one thing I never let go of. I wrote my first song when I was 21, during my third year of university. Since I was self taught, things did not go smoothly, and I often went months without touching my computer after trying for a bit. But now, when I look back, I feel that I can create songs that are much closer to what I truly want to express. I hope to keep writing music that feels honest and meaningful to me. Thank you for your support.
