At the age of 87, this is the first new album in 8 years by guitar legend Kazuhiko Takeda, who continues to be at the forefront of the Japanese jazz scene. With longtime co-star bassist Yoshiro Kanda, they play simple standards in a relaxed atmosphere. The two maestros who know each other well have created the best blues and ballads based on the heart of singing. Please enjoy Kazuhiko Takeda's sound, one by one, which is so deep that you will never get tired of listening to it over and over again, and the guitar playing that has survived for 65 years.
Born in 1936. Since around 1960, he has led his own band and has been active mainly in the Kansai region. In 1975 he participated in Takashi Furuya's album "SOLITUDE".
