At night, an incessant noise rises up from the depths of my heart. It is as if a bag of sand were to burst, and the rain is a flood of emotions and disorder. Such a sensation, in fact, makes one keenly aware of the fact that one is a "solid individual with contours" with its own texture. The song "But The Smoke, Vanishes" deals with such entropic yet solid human emotions. The lyrics of each section are palindromes, combining chaotic semantic content with orderly representation. The palindromic nature of the lyrics also forces the words to acquire a literal character. The support of this song is not only the air, but may even appear on paper or screen. This song, too, has the potential to be an individual with a texture, not just a "sound", an oscillation of the air. The sound, which also shows influences from neoacoustic, post-punk, and contemporary music, writes out the emotional nuances of this song in a balance that is not pessimistic. The coupling includes a Studio Live version of the first single "Monster".
