Oh! Friends' 3rd single in a year is a memorial number dedicated to legendary guitarist Makoto Ayukawa on the first anniversary of his sudden death in January 2022.

Makoto Ayukawa was the guitarist of SHEENA & THE ROKKETS and SONHOUSE, and had been active for more than 50 years since the dawn of Japanese rock music. Oh! Friends was also strongly influenced by both bands, and we both went to their last gig together before their death.

On January 29, 2022, when the news of Makoto Ayukawa's passing spread throughout Japan, what naturally came to mind in their grief was his beloved 1969 Gibson Les Paul Custom, known as "Black Beauty. They say that When they saw Makoto Ayukawa's Black Beauty for the first time, it was horribly battered, but it shone dazzlingly.
This rock 'n' roll number sings about the joy of meeting the bands , SHEENA & THE ROKKETS and SONHOUSE and the great guitarist Makoto Ayukawa.

    Rock n roll band from Tokyo. Formed in August 2022 by Vocal & Bassist Takahashi Captain Haruyuki and Drummer & Backing Vocalist Kudo Missile Kodai. Released their debut single Neverland on October 22nd of 2022, performing their first live show that same day at 20,000 Volts. Since then, they've expanded their gigs nationwide, painting venues across the country with rock n roll from the venue to pubs, bars, and even high school gymnasiums. In June 2025, they released their 1st full album, RESPECT. Having performed alongside big names like GUITAR WOLF, KING BROTHERS, Zooboms, and ASTERISM, they are now charging full speed ahead toward an even more scaledup, jet-powered rock n roll dream.
