Japanese Singer Songwriter Aimi Mukohara's 1st album "A Whole New World Pt.1". Aimi has been featured in the Japanese theme song of Nintendo Switch "Super Mario Odyssey", "Jump Up, Super Star!".
27 years old singer songwriter, born and raised in Japan. Largely influenced by Soul, R&B music from young age. She learned how to sing and play the acoustic guitar on her own. At the age of 18, Aimi was in the singing competition called "Voice of McDonald's 2010" which she won the 2nd place among 14,000 contestants. Aimi started writing her own music and decided to study at University of Manchester in UK for a year. She participated in many open mic nights and the local live audition which led her to the 1st place. After coming back to Japan, Aimi was featured in TV show called "Tokyo Hit Girl" and was lucky enough to perform with the famous Japanese singer songwriter AI. After graduating from university, she began her life as an independent artist. The 1st EP "One Last Love" was released in 2015 and the 2nd EP "SHE" which is more of an raw acoustic album has been released in 2017. The album was recorded and mixed by Gregory German from Digz Group, and mastered by Alex Psaroudakis, French mastering engineer from Stering Sound NYC. Recently, her vocal was featured with the theme song of Nintendo Switch "Super Mario Odyssey" (Japanese ver.) "Jump Up, Super Star!"
