CHIC et CHOCの第三弾は「ALL THE BOYS GO」をお届けします。
アナログシンセサイザーのベースラインで幕を開ける本作は、80年代テクノポップ特有のシンセアレンジを体感できる。現代のデジタル技術では「効果音」を直接使用できるが、当時は全て楽器の音色のみで作り出されていた。こうしたサウンドデザインによる効果は、聴く者の想像力をかき立てる重要な役割を担っており、本作でも同様の衝撃を体感できるはずだ。

アーティスト情報

  • CHIC et CHOC

    CHIC et CHOC：水島正人Vo＆programming、水島英敬Keyboard＆synthesizer、池本秀樹Bassの3人で構成されるテクノポップミュージックユニット。結成当初は香川治久(syn)を加えた4人で「mode et mode」と称して活動。香川は早期に脱退するが、多彩な音作りで初期の楽曲創作に貢献した。 活動期間は1980年代中期から1990年代前半と短期間（現在は休眠状態）ではあったが、良質な楽曲を多数残している。残念ながら、メジャーレコード会社からのリリースがなく、一部のトレンドセッター以外は彼らの音楽に触れることはなかったが、2025年に彼らの音楽をワールドワイドに発表出来ることになった。デジタル配信シーンが整った現代に感謝である。テクノポップのみならず、アンビエント、エスニック、アジアン、そしてJ-POPとバラエティーなテイストを含んだ彼らの音楽を楽しんでほしい。
