It was formed in 1993 around Masayuki Tamura. The band's name is the same as Machu Picchu, the site of the Inca Empire, but it has no direct origin.Once upon a time, there was a "sound" murmured by Tamura. It's Machu Picchu.A few years later, when I read a book, I saw a relic I had never seen before.It was Machu Picchu.Tamura looked for the "sound" he had written in the past.It was the same. A few years later, in 1993, the band Machu Picchu was formed. The philosophy and ideas of Indio, who created Machu Picchu, are the same as mine.This is an important message that modern people have forgotten.I'm playing that kind of music.In addition, each live performance has a new song with live titles and themes.
