SOCIAL SECURITY

【Hook】

Social security — who’s it for?

Who’s it for? who’s it for?

Social security — pay some more

Pay some more, pay some more

Social security — who gets paid?

Who gets paid? who gets paid?

Social security —

…not me, I’m sure

【Verse 1】

Social security, structurally crooked, constructed to look like it’s good for the public

Publicly funded, but under the surface it’s budget-to-bucket corruption in clusters

Buildings get built with a bill that’s inflated, they fill it, then kill it, then call it “completed”

Minimal maintenance, hidden arrangements, a little “percentage” conveniently seated

Spend it or lose it — the usual usage

Useless utilities, brutally bloated

Contracts get padded, the math is elastic

Actual assets? rapidly broken

Ten years later it’s barely standing

Repair it? Nah — just bury the damage

Nobody’s buying the pile of liabilities

Hand it to local and call it “managed”

Pass it along and abandon the blame

Same old pattern, a scandal in frame

Paint it as progress, package it polished

Practically nothing but cash in a chain

【Hook】

Social security — who’s it for?

Who’s it for? who’s it for?

Social security — pay some more

Pay some more, pay some more

Social security — who gets paid?

Who gets paid? who gets paid?

Social security —

…not me, I’m sure

【Verse 2】

Check in your paycheck — deductions detected

Sections are stacked in a sketchy collection

“Future protection” — a beautiful message

But where is the future? I question the question

Workers are working to cover the aging

Numbers are crumbling, nobody’s saving

They know the ratio’s totally broken

Still they promote it like nothing is changing

Call it a cycle — it’s closer to siphon

Money is moving but never reciting

Who gets it back? and how much exactly?

Answers get buried in passive writing

Give me my portion — that’s too unrealistic

Even that minimum’s statistically missing

This isn’t saving, it’s redistribution

Built on a system that’s built to be slipping

“Safe and secure” — they say it in sequence

Repeat it enough and it sounds like a thesis

Layer of language to mask the mechanics

Under the slogans, the structure is bleeding

【Hook】

Social security — who’s it for?

Who’s it for? who’s it for?

Social security — pay some more

Pay some more, pay some more

Social security — who gets paid?

Who gets paid? who gets paid?

Social security —

…not me, I’m sure

【Verse 3(Double Time)】

Numbers adjusted, assumptions corrupted

Nothing but functions to shuffle the budget

Kick it down further, defer it to others

Another generation will suffer the luggage

Call it inevitable, better to settle

But that’s just a method to never address it

Pressure suppressed and the message gets measured

In decibels lower than ever expected

People get passive, the passion is passive

Mad for a minute, then back to the average

Check after check, it’s chipped and collected

Living and giving with little to manage

Working for what? with nothing to show

Stuck in a loop that is running you low

Looking for growth but it’s only the numbers

They’re growing on paper — in life it’s a no

Social security — who’s really winning?

Look at the ceiling — the villains are grinning

【Outro】

Social security…

I’m not paying for the future —

…I’m paying for the past
