Artist Profile

  • SEEDA

SEEDA Born in Tokyo, Japan. Spent his childhood in London. He has produced many classics, including the monumental "Hana to Ame" (2006), a bilingual-style rap song that captures the poetry of the street and includes the title track from an album about his feelings for his sister who passed away prematurely. In August 2010, SEEDA released the album "BREATHE," which reached No. 2 on the i-Tunes chart and No. 2 on the Oricon Indies chart. The flow and lyrics created by Seeda are said to have revolutionized the Japanese rap game up to that point. As an innovator of Japanese hip-hop, SEEDA has produced the "CONCRETE GREEN" series of mix CDs (2006~) with DJ ISSO, which mainly features songs by young artists of the time, and currently presides over the daily updated YouTube program NEET TOKYO (2017~). His creations are also highly acclaimed.
