高天原に神留り坐す
皇親神漏岐 神漏美の命以ちて
八百万神等を神集へに集へ賜ひ
神議りに議り賜ひて
我が皇御孫命は 豊葦原の水穂國を
安國と平けく知ろし食せと
事依さし奉りき 此く依さし奉りし
國中に 荒振る神等をば
神問はしに問はし賜ひ
神掃ひに掃ひ賜ひて
語問ひし磐根 樹根立
草の片葉をも語止めて
天の磐座放ち 天の八重雲を
伊頭の千別きに千別きて
天降し依さし奉りき
此く依さし奉りし四方の國中と
大倭日高見國を安國と定め奉りて
下つ磐根に宮柱太敷き立て
高天原に千木高知りて
皇御孫命の瑞の御殿仕へ奉りて
天の御蔭 日の御蔭と隠り坐して
安國と平けく知ろし食さむ
國中に成り出でむ天の益人等が
過ち犯しけむ種種の罪事は
天つ罪 國つ罪 許許太久の罪出でむ
此く出でば 天つ宮事以ちて
天つ金木を本打ち切り 末打ち断ちて
千座の置座に置き足らはして
天つ菅麻を本刈り断ち 末刈り切りて
八針に取り辟きて
天つ祝詞の太祝詞事を宣れ
此く宣らば
天つ神は天の磐門を押し披きて
天の八重雲を伊頭の千別きに千別きて聞こし食さむ
國つ神は高山の末 短山の末に上り坐して
高山の伊褒理 短山の伊褒理を掻き別けて聞こし食さむ
此く聞こし食してば 罪と云ふ罪は在らじと
科戸の風の天の八重雲を吹き放つ事の如く
朝の御霧 夕の御霧を 朝風 夕風の吹き拂ふ事の如く
大津辺に居る大船を 舳解き放ち 艫解き放ちて
大海原に押し放つ事の如く
彼方の繁木が本を 焼鎌の敏鎌以ちて
打ち掃ふ事の如く 遺る罪は在らじと
祓へ給ひ清め給ふ事を 高山の末 短山の末より
佐久那太理に落ち多岐つ速川の瀬に坐す
瀬織津比賣と云ふ神
大海原に持ち出でなむ 此く持ち出で往なば
荒潮の潮の八百道の八潮道の潮の八百会に坐す
速開都比賣と云ふ神
持ち加加呑みてむ 此く加加呑みてば 気吹戸に坐す
気吹戸主と云ふ神
根國 底國に気吹き放ちてむ
此く気吹き放ちてば 根國 底國に坐す
速佐須良比賣と云ふ神
持ち佐須良ひ失ひてむ 此く佐須良ひ失ひてば
罪と云ふ罪は在らじと
祓へ給ひ清め給ふ事を

As Heart Sutra MUSIC marks its 10th anniversary, "singing monk" Kanho Yakushiji steps into a new realm of expression.
Inspired by Shinbutsu-shūgō, the traditional Japanese fusion of Shinto and Buddhism, this work weaves together the Shinto prayer Ōharae Kotoba, a ritual text for purifying body and mind, with the Buddhist Heart Sutra, which teaches the wisdom of freeing oneself from attachment and anxiety.
These two prayers, born from different spiritual traditions yet long cherished as sources of comfort, are brought to life through layered vocal harmonies, piano, guitar, strings, shinobue bamboo flute, and other rich instrumental textures.
Through this work, Kanho Yakushiji brings the ancient Japanese spirit of harmony - wa - into the present day.

Kanho Yakushiji
Born in 1979, Kanho Yakushiji is a Zen Buddhist monk and musician, serving as the deputy chief priest of Kaizenji Temple, a Rinzai Zen temple affiliated with the Myoshinji school. In addition to his role as a monk, he has been actively creating music since 2017, producing the Heart Sutra Music series, which combines traditional chanting of Buddhist sutras such as the Heart Sutra with modern musical arrangements. He has released numerous albums to date. Drawing from Buddhist teachings, he also composes original songs centered on the theme of what we should cherish in life. His YouTube channel currently has approximately 750,000 subscribers, and his Heart Sutra Music-related videos have been viewed over 100 million times worldwide. In 2018, his work began gaining attention throughout Asia via social media, leading to back-to-back Asia tours in 2018 and 2019 through China, Hong Kong, and Taiwan, drawing over 10,000 attendees within two years. After the pandemic, he resumed his international performances in 2022, starting with a Southeast Asia tour. In 2023, he launched his first world tour, followed by an Asia tour in 2024, performing in China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand, and Australia, receiving enthusiastic responses in every country. With the hope that this music can help reset the heart, he continues to share the prayers of Buddhism through sound, from Japan to Asia and to the world, for all who live in the present moment.

2003年、薬師寺を中心に、コーラスグループ「キッサコ」を京都で結成。 名前の由来は、「お茶でもどうぞ」の意味を持つ禅語「喫茶去」から。 2013年、薬師寺が修行を終え、僧侶になってからは、仏教の教えをわかりやすい日本語に置き換え、懐かしいポップスのメロディーとハーモニーで伝えていくことをコンセプトに、寺院ライブを軸として活動を展開する。今までにアルバム5枚、シングルは15枚以上リリース。2016年7月16日には、松山市民会館大ホールにてワンマンライブを開催し、700人近くの動員を記録。 同年リリースの5枚目フルアルバム「日日是好日」は、TSUTAYA CDデイリーランキングにて堂々の３位を獲得。 2017年8月3日、アルフィー坂崎幸之助氏のテレビ番組「お台場フォーク村」にゲスト出演、坂崎氏・所ジョージ氏と共演を果たす。 2018年7月、メンバーである山元の脱退が決まり、 7月28日に京都アルティで行われる二人体制キッサコのラストライブは500席がSOLD OUTとなる。 同年8月より、15年間続けてきた「キッサコ」の名を引き継ぎ、 新たに、”僧侶ボーカルプロジェクト”「薬師寺寛邦 キッサコ」として再始動する。 また、僧侶として次世代に仏教をつないでいくため、音楽と仏教を掛け合わせ、 般若心経に声を重ねアレンジしたアルバム「般若心経」を今年5月にリリース。 オリジナルバージョンである「般若心経 cho ver.」は、YouTubeで200万回再生を突破！ 台湾の東森新聞では160万回、中国のSNSでは驚異の2,000万回再生を記録。 フジテレビ「めざましテレビ」等、多くのメディアにて取り上げられた。 中国での大反響を受け、2018年12月には、中国本土・台湾を巡る全6箇所公演のワンマンライブツアーの開催され、5,000人の動員を記録し大盛況となった。 日本からアジアへ、縁を繋ぎ、仏教を音に乗せ、伝え続ける。
