Artist Profile

• Kawai Sachiko

  Graduated from the Department of Arts at Tokyo Gakugei University. Studied abroad at the University of Venice and the Conservatory of Padua with a scholarship from the Ministry of Education, Japan. Her vocal repertoire covers a wide range from medieval music to musical theater. Her notable appearances include the radio program Over the Rainbow on Nippon Broadcasting System, the Kumamoto earthquake relief musical Little Tree, and the operetta La Serva Padrona. She has performed concerts in four cities across Turkey as part of the 120th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Japan and Turkey. She has also appeared in shows aboard the cruise ships Asuka II and Nippon Maru. In addition to performing, she has worked as a vocal coach for musicals, films, television programs, and commercials. She was the music producer for the film Midnight Bus. She has taught at J. F. Oberlin University, the Watanabe Musical Arts Academy, and other institutions. She is a member of the Japan Handel Society.

• Yoshida Sayuko

  クラシックからジャズまで幅広いジャンルの音楽を学び、 演奏活動、作曲、編曲を行う。 新邦楽で読売テレビ「TIME21」十三代目片岡仁左衛門特集にピアノで参加。幅広い音楽や即興演奏での対応は、様々なジャンルを得意とする音楽家達に好評を得ている。 ライフワークの音楽劇『リトル・ツリー』(原作/葉祥明)では全曲作編曲。2010年発表後、2014年「東京学生英語劇連盟」での英語ミュージカル、2016年はエグゼクティブプロデューサー奈良橋陽子氏による公演。2018年は熊本地震復興支援として、熊本市内の小学校、美術館などでチャリティー公演を行う。 現在も毎年様々な形式、キャストで公演が続いている。

• Iwaki Rieko

  子育て中にTVで見たアコーディオンに衝撃を受け、ほぼ独学で習得し2001年より演奏活動を始める。ダンス、朗読などとの公演も多数。 2008年、坂本龍一commons「あなたの「koko」コンテスト」グランプリ。 2018年にはスペインでの800km歩き巡礼をCDブックに、コロナ禍2020年には星座の巡りを「星のことほぎ」シリーズとしてYouTubeで公開。翌年には同シリーズで文化庁後援にて全国ツアーを行う。 2024年はヤマカイエンタメバレエ「美女と野獣」演奏出演。 また、心を解放し自分の音を楽しむアコーディオンレッスンにも愛を注いでいる。
