Incoherent

This project improves the timbre of the state-variable filter. This filter mainly consists of two state-variable filters, a multiplier, and a Wien bridge oscillator. The two state-variable filters are connected in a cascading arrangement. The output signals from the state-variable filters and the Wien bridge oscillator are fed into the multiplier. The output signal of this filter is the sum of the output signals from the state-variable filter and the multiplier. The all-pass filter used in a conventional state-variable filter has been replaced with a multiplier. The gain and frequency of the Wien bridge oscillator are primarily controlled by the control signal--a variable resistor and an analog photocoupler. In the sixth track, a Waveform Audio File Format file is played back using the synthesizer system's computer. The computer's output signal is input to the mixer via a Direct-to-Analog Converter (DAC). The previous system used a Universal Serial Bus audio interface but this was replaced with a DAC to improve sound quality. Track 1 features an aggressive oscillating sound; Track 2, deep bass; Track 3, three sustained high-pitched sounds; Track 4, unique modulated sounds; Track 5, white noise; and Track 6, death growls and the sound of friction on tin. The effect is powerful and diverse.
