DÉ DÉ MOUSE's project "Afternoon Air Currents," themed around the skies of Tokyo's suburbs.
Their second album, "Clouds Over the Starry Moon," set in Tama Center at night and featuring 14 tracks including the recently released "Oil Paint Star,"
is now out via Chill & Life Community's "Lonely Girl"!
This second album paints the cold winter air and the quiet solitude of time spent alone
with piano-centered Lo-Fi sounds, gently capturing the fluctuations of nighttime thoughts and emotions-making it the perfect work for this season.
The French Impressionist-like harmonies and the piano's resonant, lingering tones, introduced in the lead single, form the core that runs through the entire album. Each of the 14 tracks quietly weaves together fragmented memories and emotions that surface on winter nights.
As titles like "Thoughts," "It Will Surely Come True," and "Clouds Over the Starry Moon" suggest, this is a work that presents a "place to belong" within the listener's daily life and thoughts, depicted dramatically yet always quietly.
This second album encapsulates the quiet, introspective essence of the season itself, offering comfort especially during the cold months.
As a producer/keyboardist/DJ, "DÉ DÉ MOUSE" continues to garner a large following both domestically and internationally through his melody cut-up technique and catchy, enigmatic melodies/chord progressions.
In 2023, they released the collaborative EP "Sparkler Girl" with maeshima soshi,
followed by the collaborative EP "Riverside Girl" with Refeeld in 2024, both selected for numerous playlists and generating significant buzz.
Furthermore, in 2025, he launched a new project "Afternoon Air Currents" and released a collaborative song with singer WaMi and Refeeld via Lonely Girl, remaining actively at the forefront with continuous releases.
The artwork is by manga artist/illustrator Tomoko Oshima,
depicting a girl lost in thought on the outskirts of town beneath a sky reminiscent of Starry Night, surrendering herself to the music.
Beyond just the music, we invite you to immerse yourself in the artwork and these 15 fragments of unseen thoughts and emotions, blending seamlessly with the nightscape.

DE DE MOUSE
Solo project by Daisuke Endo. He is a composer, arranger, producer, keyboardist, and DJ. He is also active in various fields such as programming, mixing/mastering of his own songs and videos, and produces/provides music/remixes for other works. His melody cut-up technique and catchy and mysterious melody/chord structure have created many followers both in Japan and abroad, and he has brought about an achievement that can be called an invention in the scene since then. He has been actively pursuing live performances as a trackmaker/producer since the early stages of his career, and his live performances with live instruments are one of the most appealing features of his music, appearing at many festivals and events every year, such as Fuji Rock and Tyco Club. In 2019, he will release his 8th full-length album "Nulife" and in April 2020, he will release a digital EP "Hello My Friend". In addition to his energetic releases, including his own edit sound distribution, he has recently started a DJ distribution project on the Internet called "Nulife Groove," and has performed more than 40 series of guerrilla-style distribution on street corners, and has performed Demonstration 1, 2, and 3 using twin drums and 3D sound. Demonstration1, which made full use of twin drums and stereophonic sound, and Demonstration2, which performed live in a virtual planetarium space, are also experimental series that have attracted much attention. In addition, he has collaborated with various artists such as Serph, CHIP TANAKA, LITE, TANUKI(UK), 1311, PUNIPUNI DENKI, YonYon, SASUKE, AZK, WaMi, Hylen, OUIOUI(Korea), and others, and has released works in both band and club scenes. Their inexhaustible activities and live performances continue to fascinate people, transcending all frameworks, from the band scene and the club scene to the music scene. In 2022, they will form a new band called "Fake Creators" and will perform at the FUJI ROCK FESTIVAL 2022 before the release of their sound source.
