Not Okay Yet

GREYLINE

I’m not okay yet

But I’m still here

I left my hoodie on the chair

Like I was coming back soon

Half a cold dinner on the desk

A paper cup beside my room

I laughed too loud at something small

Then went quiet in the hall

Held my breath behind the door

So no one heard me fall

I keep my phone face down at night

So I don’t have to see the light

Some days I look almost alive

But I’m just getting by

I’m not broken

I’m just tired of pretending

Every little smile I wear

Feels heavier by the ending

I don’t need someone to save me

I just need a place to breathe

If tomorrow comes slowly

Let it come quietly

There’s a jacket by the window

I haven’t worn for weeks

A notebook full of empty lines

I never let you read

I washed my face with cold water

Stared until I looked the same

Practiced saying “I’m alright”

Like it was my middle name

I know I’m hard to understand

I let go, then I reach again

Some days I don’t want to disappear

I just don’t want to explain

I’m not broken

I’m just tired of pretending

Every little smile I wear

Feels heavier by the ending

I don’t need someone to save me

I just need a place to breathe

If tomorrow comes slowly

Let it come quietly

Maybe healing isn’t loud

Maybe it just stays around

In the dishes left undone

In the shoes beside the door

Maybe I’m not falling apart

Maybe this is where I start

With a quiet kind of pain

I don’t have to hide no more

I’m not broken

I’m still learning how to carry

All the things I couldn’t say

All the nights that felt too heavy

I don’t need a perfect morning

I just need a little room

If I can make it through the silence

I can make it through the blue

I’m not okay yet

But I’m still here

That has to mean something

That has to mean something

Artist Profile

  • GREYLINE

GRΛYLINE is a three-piece male band project that presents music without faces, focusing only on sound and state. Rather than fixed personas, their work is defined by shifting emotional distance. The voice changes not as a character choice, but as a reflection of where the music is positioned ? inward, neutral, or outward. From the introspective tones of Before Dawn, to the everyday affirmation of Clear Days, and the outward momentum of MOVE FIRST, each release captures a different phase of motion. GRΛYLINE exists in the space between thinking, stopping, and moving. Always within the same timeline. Always in transition. The figures remain silhouettes. The music moves forward.
